Women’s rights, the rights of poor people to a life of dignity, access to the vote, respect for others, all those progressed that I witnessed growing up and as a young adult are now threatened. Today is a sad anniversary of the massacre at my school. The magic of the Holidays seems very fragile, like a crystal Christmas ornament…
So these stories are about friendship and hope. On a human scale.
