5 Hard and Crunchy SF Tales

5 Hard and Crunchy SF Tales

Sink your teeth in those hard and crunchy SF tales!

Welcome to the Big Bang Bar, where the playground of the ultra-rich spans whole solar systems. Follow a cyber-butterfly soaring over the scarred Earth, with strings attached! Watch a proud woman stranded in the pitiless Martian desert find her way out — or die trying. Discover why an alien ship must keep eternally shifting its parts. Or would you prefer to jump a few billions years forward to witness the end of our universe?

Five hard and crunchy science-fiction stories, cooked by myself with the gracious help of translators Sheryl Curtis and N. R. M. Roshak (for two of those stories).

A few words on those hard-SF tales

It has been a long time since I wanted to publish a collection of science fiction short-stories. When I was in my father’s bookshleves, most of the books were collections of stories by Isaac Asimov and themed anthologies. I would discover novels later.

Since I grew up on Star Trek, (the original series) and my father’s bookshelf, I became a reader, hungry for chunky bits of science-fiction and cool tech. A lot of years and life choices later, I have become a mainly-SF writer myself. As I like dark chocolate, I tend towards stories mixing adventures and reflexions, and sciences.

The five stories in this collection have all been published in pro magazines, praised by the SF critics for their voice and ambition. Especially Cousin Entropy, tackling the heat death of the Universe with touches of humor.
